We produce a large range of Stair Spindles that compliment every Staircase and Handrail whether is it modern or traditional. Stair spindles are produced in four standard thickness’, 32mm², 35mm², 41mm² and 50mm². Every Handrail and Baserail carries a groove of matching size. Standard Stair Spindles are produced 900mm and 1100mm long. The longer of the two are mainly used for commercial properties or ‘cut string’ Staircases where the Stair Spindles are fitted directly to the treads.
All of our Stair Spindles are produced 900mm and 1100mm long in pine, hemlock, mahogany, ash or oak as standard. The longer of the two are mainly used for gallery landings in commercial properties or 'cut string' Staircases where the Stair Spindles are fitted directly to the treads. The spindles are available in different thicknesses (32mm², 35mm², 41mm² & 50mm²) although you will notice that there is more choice the thicker the spindle size. This is because some of the patterns are so intricate the 41mm² and 50mm² are the only size spindle that is strong enough.
