Our Larger Staircase handrails are produced in two designs and are available in all timbers. Many of the Larger handrails and base rails are produced with grooves within the pattern that accommodates the stair spindles and Infill. All Handrails and Baserails are accompanied by what we call Infill. These are the pieces of wood that fit into the grooves of the Larger Handrails and Baserails and separate the stair spindles evenly. All Infills are included in the advertised Larger Handrail and Baserail prices.
All Larger handrails and Baserails are available in the following lengths:-
1.0m Long, 1.2m long, 2.0m long, 3.0m long, 3.6m long and 4.2m long.
All Larger handrails and Baserails are available ungrooved to accept glass or in 4 Groove Sizes, to accept the thickness of the stair spindles.
Larger staircase handrails can also be used as wall mounted handrails but are usually used for the opposite side of the staircase with stair spindles. We supply a large selection of Wall Brackets, Patrices and End caps for wall mounted handrails including Brass, Satin Chrome, Polished Chrome, Black, White and Stainless Steel.
Larger handrails add an element of style with the added height. If you have a spacious staircase area, a higher handrail could suit the space available, making more of a statement with the handrail and overall staircase.
